Bundi was a celebrated Rajput state of Rajasthan, and its ghat at Banaras is called Bundi Parakota — parakota meaning a place of fort-like walls. The structure above shows a Rajput touch. The steps are old, and from this stretch, near the Panchganga quarter, the northern arc of the ghats opens out. The ghat still keeps much of its old character.

बुंदी राजस्थान की एक प्रसिद्ध राजपूत रियासत थी। बनारस में बने उसके घाट को बुंदी पारकोटा कहा जाता है — पारकोटा का अर्थ है किले जैसी दीवारों वाला स्थान। ऊपर की संरचना राजपूत शैली की झलक देती है। घाट की सीढ़ियाँ पुरानी हैं और पंचगंगा क्षेत्र के पास होने के कारण यहाँ से उत्तर का घाट-चाप दिखता है। यह घाट आज भी अपने पुराने रूप को सहेजे हुए है।
