Nandishwar means the lord or abode of Nandi, Shiva’s bull — honoured at every Shiva shrine. The ghat’s name grows from that tradition. Lying to the north, near Raj Ghat, it is quiet and little visited. Sakka and Telianala ghats are close by, and locals bathe here each morning.
